- Contributions in the Field of Plastic Surgery Services in Pakistan

1. Planned, completed and commissioned in a hundred year old heritage protected building the first sixty-six bedded Burns Center in The Public Sector Hospital (CHK).
2. Introduced the first Cleft Lip and Cleft Palate Clinic and Surgical setup with documentation and follow up facilities at CHK and DMC.
3. Introduced Micro vascular surgery in Pakistan at Dept. of Plastic Surgery DMC and CHK.
4. Founded the Pakistan Association of Plastic Surgeons.
5. Introduced the Faculty of Plastic Surgery CPSP and University of Karachi for training and examination purposes.
6. Introduced Undergraduate examination system in Plastic Surgery from University of Karachi in DMC.
7. Supervised and sponsored the training of Post Graduates in Plastic Surgery and Allied Specialties of Surgery for FRCS, FCPS, MS and MCPS. The specialists trained are now working internationally and nationally as teachers and senior consultants in the field of Plastic Surgery and Burns.
8. Introduced recognized new methods of Surgery and improvised existing methods of management of conditions of disease, trauma and aesthetics as seen in our Sub-continent, with considerations of side effects, financial retrains, etc.
   Introducing new complete concepts for management of obesity and its psychological effects for the population.
9. Management for individuals with problems of ambiguous gender.
10. Management of Cosmetic Surgery cases, facelifts, eye-lid reductions, cut-ears, deformed ears, corrections of nose deformities, breasts, abdomen reduction, fat reduction, liposuction, excision and biopsy of moles and skin lesions, accidents and trauma.
11. Management of acute burns and post burns complications.

• Nominated for Prince Mahidol Award (Govt. of Thailand) for services in the field of medicine – plastic surgery, congenital deformity (cleft lip and palate) and burns – June 5th 2004.
• Award for meritorious services rendered in the field of medicine - plastic surgery, and burns – by Govt. at the Governor house 8th October 2002.
